We all went to broadmarsh cinema to attend the screening of our very first film that we have produced as a group. I found the response that we got very pleasing. Everyone took there own response to this 2 min narrative film. It was interesting how everyone took either there own personal response to the film and the way that they conveyed there ideas.
I thought the film that was talking about discrimination was a very strong piece of filming. I liked the way that they filmed individuals to get their own response to what discrimination meant to them.
Trainers in love i thought it was an interesting way to convey love through a trainers.
And also the one were they walked through the house with the song Massive Attack 'teardrop' worked really well i liked the way the moved the camera into each room quite slowly which worked with the music, the music also gave the film emotion so that you connect with the person that had been doing drugs.
Post it this film was interesting the way the film was focused on post it notes.
The animation that was in black and white with the figures fitting was really good even though it didn't have any music it still worked but, by not having the music it made you gave it a different perspective in the way music can have a big impression towards a film,it fills in the gaps. You could tell they worked hard on the film/animation.
Mr Pickle this film unusual in the way that the background was like a game and then layered over the top was this character Mr pickle. I thought the background was interesting and the amount of detail in the background was good, it made you travel through each of the chapters. The film reminded me of 'Charlie Chaplin' only because of the way Mr Pickle was moving.
And also the film /documentary about 'chaise long' it was a completely different aspect of telling you information about chairs. I wasn't expecting it , i thought it was going to turn into an animation. I thought it wasn't very multimedia inspired.
The film/animation about a student living in university it was quite like ours. But, i still liked it thr comic strip went throughout the film which made it more appelling to the eye.
The video which was about this character in an office was interesting i thought the credit and the end with the paper strips worked really well.
