uvw wrapping

here i have been attempting to uvw wrap my character which is very complicated until you get used to it.

new script changed

Opening with the scenery of trees and flowers ( w/s camera moves around to flower where the butterfly is fluttering)around it and is getting some nectar out of the flower. Bruce is in the distance just minding his own business sniffing the grass.
He turns around and sees the butterfly fluttering so, he walks up to the butterfly.

Starts to smell the butterfly fly but, finds the bug keeps on moving. So the butterfly starts to move on ( w/s camera moves around the scene) and flies around bruce is looking up at the butterfly to see what is happening

So, Bruce is prancing around the butterfly bruce starts to get bored and walks away ( c/s camera see the back of bruce). As he is looking down to see what is happening ( camera is a w/s but at a higher state). The butterfly swoops down and lands on Bruces bum then bruce looks around and completely turns around to see the butterfly is on his bum. The butterfly is franctickly moving on his bum ( camera c/s)

As the butterfly is fluttering around Bruce starts to get irritated starts to bark. The butterfly seems to be in shock flutters madly. So instantly flies away and goes back onto the flower, where he feels safe sits there fluttering. The butterfly got a bit to much attention. Bruce seems only a little bit phased by it. So then Bruce just minds his own business plays around in the garden jumping,sniffing the grass. Whilst that is going on the butterfly is sitting on the flower. After awhile the butterfly comes back again to try and get even more attention from Bruce.

Bruce is having none of it this time he rans away ( w/s camera) decides to roll around on the grass. The butterfly starts to fly around him as he is looking up
( possible rain effect here).The butterfly is going around and around ( camera c/s )

Bruce barks once again butterfly got in so much shock that he flu straight into some poo.

The other character that I have created is going to be an irritating bug that always seems to get in the way of the dog. Stops him from doing anything but in the end the bug and the dog get one. the relationship between these two characters are completely the opposite to each other which is why the bug is very irrating but the dog is very chilled out but the way to bug gets a repsonse is if hes on the nose of the dog. the bug seems to stay on the nose alot of the time. But the dog never knew where the bug appeared from.

week 39 changed idea and concept

I have changed the whole scene but, kept the charlie brown' snoopy theme'.Replaced the boy (jamie) as a butterfly, which I will find alot more easier to model and animate.There will still be a connection between them. I have created a dome shape,plane and added cameras and lights into the scene. added sky effect from photoshop.Modelling the butterfly need to look at how out how they move research and the colour and the textures aswell.(to place characters in scene ' merge' this places them in the scene select all of the objects).

new script for 3/5 minute animation

1st scene int. Kitchen
Jamie opens the door then Bruce greets him by jumping up on jamie.
Jamie says' Good boy'

Bruce starts to bark and needs to go out in the garden.

3rd Scene Ext.Garden
In the garden Jamie and Bruce start to play around.Bruce starts to jump around. Jamie bends down to stroke Bruce.

4th Scene Ext. Garden
Then Bruce sees a fickering thing in the corner of his eye and looks around and he sees a butterfly thats flying around and Bruce starts to chase it.But the butterfly is no where to be seen the butterfly then reappears on his nose.The butterfly start to flutter on his nose. Jamie starts to laugh at Bruce and moves closer to him.

Jamie tries to get the butterfly off Bruces nose. Jamie bends down to Bruce the butterfly flies away. But yet the butterfly gets stuck in some dog poo.

Inverse foot rig week38

practising to get a more realistic motion out of the foot try this slightly more advanced rig. Im going to practise my animating the walk pattern which I will benefit from when im building my character.

Been working over easter building up my portlio and drawing skills.I have been keeping my sketches simple to have effect.But alot of my drawings will be animated at some point or put onto a memorial in a piece of graffiti which I have been working on recently. Figuring out what images should be involved in the piece. Even using sketches from years ago im going to use aswell to make the piece a memento to my work.
And I have also been working on designing cards and t-shirts to get a broad and interesting portfolio to show people how versatile and open minded I am about my job.
