I recently went to an exhibition were a friend of mine Caroline Underwood was exhibiting her work at City and Guilds Art College in London. Her work is mixed media her paintings have alot of depth to them. Her drawings are based on landscapes and various other inspirational places and also nature. Within the Art College there were various different artists exhibiting their work. I then came across Juliaturcato her work mainly focused on Graffitti and mixed media. Her work is very inspiring and creative.

Junaid Aziz fine artist/designer this artist created installations were he had piece of wood that had zips on them. Instead looking at the object on the outside it was like they were looking at you. azjuna@hotmail.com
Holly Koch
Holly has been exploring the tension both desirous as well as repulsive of promixmity, and conversely, the feeling of loss that is intensley personal and precise. She also likes to create a visual narrative as well as a dialectical relationship within the work.
Kiran Arora
His work reflects his own persona- a blend of eastern and western thought and culture. His current work seeks to explore the concept of cosmic unity of all phenomenon. His art work was very eye catching with the colours and the way his lines in his work drew you in.
Jennifer Nuttall
Her work works with child-like, which acted as a vechicle to express universal problems of human relationships. The problems of growing up the psychological problems within you're life. This work i found very disturbing and didnt like it.

Kiaz graffiti artist did a murals for 9/11
'Future'
I found this mural looking around on graffitti websites. This image is a contrast to many of the pieces of graffiti that I have seen. The background is minimal but then the overlay at the bottom with a dominant piece of graffiti. I dont see a link within the image with the dominant graffiti and then the monet kind of style.

Michelangelo Pistoletto
www.moma.org collective work of Michelangelo Pistoletto.
On this sculpture there are millions of fake nails to represent the womans figure. I found this sculpture very effective and intriguing. http://www.artfacts.net/index.php/pageType/artistInfo/artist/2056 more images and information on this artist.

graffitti designs 3
This design I have used the words to create controversy. The words saying ' beauty is the hardest drug ' so by smoking and keeping yourself thin by doing this. Hopefully with all these desgins im goin to create an animation with them. Also the words will have some movement within them aswell. All of these images i ahve kept simple just a few lines to represent the facial features and so on. Using fineliner i have found it you can create simple lettering by using different sizes of the nibs of the pens.

I have been working on some of my ideas mixing graffiti and images. I have used the words that have been graffited to represent what the womens emotions are at that time. Using the images gives the whole image a different meaning and depth. I have used fineliner applying different strokes, lines etc to create some stronger points of the women.

Throughout the summer I have been practising my drawing skills and developing my ideas on graffiti. I have found that working on a smaller scale is alot more easier , as I couldn't make the images that I designed bigger but, still keeping the image in its originalality. I have been working on a few ideas were I have combined graffiti with women images that I have designed, even tho my women designs are quite deminant , I still think it works having the graffiti alongside the images. Hopefully it will turn the designs into an animation in the future.
I have also been to the Eden Project which I thought was interesting because its on such a big scale even tho I was still disapointed by the Eden Project thought there would of been alot more going on in the sense of activities and so on.
